Speaker: Kimberly Burton, Director of Older Adult Programs with Mental Health Association of Maryland

Kimberly has led education and advocacy initiatives regarding to late life behavioral health for 17 years. Kim regularly provides public and professional programs throughout Maryland on topics as mental health, dementia, substance use disorders and caregiving. She welcomes the opportunity to tailor education programs to specific needs of any audience. Also, Kim chairs the Maryland Coalition on Mental Health and participates in several statewide committees to improve all aspects of behavioral health care for Maryland seniors including the Oversight Committee on Quality of Care in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living and the Governor's Commission on on Disabilities.
